The history stated in Riva della Garda ( at the time of the Hapsbergs empire) , where Carlo Torboli married Benazzoli Valeria in 1903 and decided to build a building in viale Roma, a building adapted into a Trattoria-hotel with a cellar as part of the building in order "to produce wine for their own clients", this was the objective of

After the premature disappearance of Carlo Torboli, the son Umberto with the crucial collaboration of Alvaro Pezzotti “sales director for almost 50 years” continues with his father’s activity.
Together with his wife Gabriella and his sons Carlo and Christian in 1990 the new cellar was built in Tenno, where they use new technology for production of DR Lavat di Verona, an Italian wine expert who has invented the method for producing pure wine, that is wine without any exterior pollution and without the use of additional chemicals “ sulphur dioxide” (Method).

The idea begun in the seventies and there are essentially two main motives for inspiration:
- THE HEAVY ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION THAT IS INEVITABLY TRANSMITTED ACROSS THE ATMOSPHERIC SHOWERS ON THE GRAPE VINES.
- THE DISCOVERY OF THE SERIOUS HARM TO HUMAN HEALTH FROM SULPHUR DIOXIDE WHICH DIRECTLY CAUSES VERY SERIOUS ILLNESSES.
